CLUBNEWS: Bands tune up to help Tigers
Four local bands will take to the stage next month to raise funds for Shropshire's top ice hockey team.
Bang to Rights, The Zoobs, Anything Goes and Vinyl Tap take to the stage from 7pm on July 15, at Cordingley Hall, Donnington in aid of Telford Tigers.
The event, organised by team supporters, costs just £3 for adults, £1.50 for children, and includes a raffle with a top prize of a fabulous Fender Stratocaster electric guitar, donated by Music Bros of Shrewsbury.
Tickets are available on the door or can be purchased in advance from the Navy Club in Newport.
The venue has been provided free of charge and all proceeds from the event will go to support the Telford Tigers in their English Premier League campaign.
The evening promises something for all tastes - headliners Bang to Rights are a rock act, while Anything Goes offer contemporary swing. Vinyl Tap and The Zoobs are covers bands. All bands are local from the Newport and Shrewsbury area.
