Christmas Shirts 2011-12
Working with our official merchandise partner, Print Me UK, the Telford Tigers are proud to unveil their brand new specially commissioned Christmas strip, to be worn at all home matches during December.
The playing strip carries the logo's of all of the Telford Tigers current 2011-12 sponsors, as a thank you to all of the companies that pledged their support this season.
The playing strip itself has been designed, purchased and donated to the Telford Tigers Supporters trust by Steve Reeves, owner of Print Me UK, and is to be auctioned later in December to generate funds.
In donating the strip Steve said "I have been watching the Telford Tigers since I was very young and have always had a very keen interest in the sport.
"I became involved with the Tigers again last season and am really happy to see that the fans ownership model appears to be working for Telford.
"As a local business and hockey fan I wanted to do my bit this season. I have already sponsored the limited edition cup strip and saw how well they were received by the fans, so thought a special Christmas strip in a colour Telford fans have never seen their team in before would be a big hit.
"I am really pleased to be involved with the Tigers this year. Hopefully more local businesses will want to follow suit and will also come on board to help Tom, the team and the supporters trust become a success"
Alan Gould, Telford Tigers Supporters Trust Chairman added "We are incredibly grateful to Steve and all the staff at Print Me UK for their invaluable support this season.
"As a small low budget organisation we rely heavily on the backing of the business community, and are grateful for every bit of assistance they can provide.
"It doesn't matter how big or how small the support happens to be, as with the supporters trust model every penny we can generate goes directly to Tom and the team.
"With over half a season left to play we are still searching for additional sponsors to help strengthen our squad. There is still a lot of hockey to play, and as we've seen by our recent results if we can generate Tom some additional resources he can look to strengthen his squad in key areas"
