Telford Tigers will re brand their entire team to the headline sponsors brand. This would completely rename the team the “Your Company Name” Telford Tigers. 2012-13 sees the team sponsored by local recruitment company TRS Personnel with the team re-branded the TRS Telford Tigers,

By way of title sponsorship, this reflects true advertising for your company in all local, regional and national press. An example of this is coverage in the Shropshire Star alone where the Telford Tigers were seen no less than 150 times over the course of the full 54 game season within articles, results, Tigers promotions and sponsors events being covered.

This equates to over £150,000 worth of advertising space in the Shropshire Star alone, this level of coverage can be mirrored in other regional papers such as the Express and Star and the Evening Mail, not to mention the numerous national ice hockey publications and websites up and down the country, including the BBC.

This is a reflection of an increased focus through positioning and awareness of the Telford Tigers brand and its sponsors.

As headline team sponsor your corporate logo will be positioned in a prominent position on both the home and away team jerseys of each Telford Tigers team, numbering up to 22 players plus the many replica shirts the team sells.

The game and replica jerseys provide excellent brand awareness for your company as during the season the shirts will be seen visually in the local media such as the Shropshire Star, and on many websites across the country. Also fans wearing the shirts are ‘walking billboards’. Trough the 2011-12 season, Telford Tigers sold in excess of 200 player and replica team shirts.

Additionally positioning of rink side advertising (either ink board, wall banner or a combination) in a prominent position around the Tigers team bench which will receive maximum exposure on gamedays and also at all public events held at Telford Ice rink. Telford Ice Rink has an annual foot-fall in excess of 400,000 people, the majority of which are local with the rink having staged many events such as ice shows, ice speedway together with continued hugely popular daily public skating sessions.

Telford Tigers play half of their games away from home against teams situated from Yorkshire to Hampshire, with the level of advertising for your organisation reflected in the regional newspaper and electronic coverage for each of these teams (9 in total). If the campaign is handled correctly the brand audience can get into the millions.
